The Vibes Report: 62% feel the “vibes are good” in Canada, but only 13% feel good vibes about the United States

September 9, 2026 —Pollara’s inaugural Vibes Report shows Canadians look at Canada as an island of good vibes in a global sea of worries. The majority feel the vibes are good in their community (68%), Canada (62%), and their province (52%) – but not in the United States (13%) or the world (19%).

The vibes report is a new tracking survey that measures if the vibes are good or bad across a range of areas. Overall, 72% of Canadians feel the vibes are good in their personal life and 16% feel the vibes are bad. Seniors are feeling the best vibes about their lives.

The Vibes Report also measures what emotions Canadians are feeling most often. In our first report, “worried” (41%) and “hopeful” (39%) compete for the top spot.
