Traveller Satisfaction at Toronto Pearson Hits Record High

September 15, 2025 – Canadians show rising levels of satisfaction with Toronto Pearson, according to new national polling conducted by Pollara Strategic Insights on behalf of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA).

The research finds:

  • 86% of passengers who travelled through Toronto Pearson in the past 12 months are satisfied with their overall airport experience, a post-pandemic high and a steady increase from 78% in January 2023.
  • Toronto Pearson remains Canada’s most travelled airport, and 85% of Ontarians who flew in the past year did so through Pearson.
  • 85% of Pearson travellers support expanding the airport and 80% support adding more airlines to improve connectivity and convenience.

“These results show that Canadians are not only satisfied with their travel experience through Pearson, but also show support for future airport growth,” said Dan Arnold, Chief Strategy Officer at Pollara.

These findings come from a randomly selected online panel sample of N=2,022 adult (18+) Canadians conducted from July 18 to 30, 2025. For full survey results and detailed methodology, click here.
