September 17, 2024 – A new Pollara Strategic Insights survey reveals that 83% of respondents who have travelled through Toronto Pearson have a positive impression of the airport.
“This marks a significant 8-point increase in satisfaction levels since September 2023,” said Pollara’s Chief Strategy officer, Dan Arnold. “This reflects a rebound in service perceptions since the post-covid restart, as more travellers return to Pearson.”
The survey also found:
- Toronto Pearson continues to be the most used airport in Canada; 52% of Canadian air passengers have travelled through Toronto Pearson.
- Among those who had travelled through Toronto Pearson in the previous 90 days, 88% had a positive or neutral impression of the airport.
- Recent travellers are over four times more likely to consider it a reliable (59%) than an unreliable (14%) airport.
These findings come from a randomly-selected online panel sample of N=2,034 adult (18+) Canadians conducted from June 20 to 28, 2024.This survey was conducted on behalf of the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA). For full survey results and detailed methodology, click here.
