Yukon Party leading Yukon NDP as territorial election day approaches

October 28, 2025 — As the Yukon territorial election approaches, a new survey by Pollara shows the Yukon Party leading the Yukon NDP 52% to 34%, with the Yukon Liberals a distant third at 11%. At this point, 13% of voters are still undecided, and 37% say they are open to changing their minds before election day.

The Yukon Party leads by 17 points within Whitehorse and by 22 points in the rest of the territory. They are strongest among men and 35-to-64 year olds. Meanwhile, the NDP perform best among women and seniors, and lead the Yukon Party by 12 points among Indigenous voters.

These findings come from a live-interviewer telephone survey of n=502 eligible voters completed between October 22 and 26. Survey results are accurate to ± 4.4%, 19 times out of 20. This poll was commissioned by the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC).
