Vast majority of travellers at Toronto Pearson report positive experience, new survey finds

TORONTO – New polling conducted by Pollara Strategic Insights on behalf of Toronto Pearson reveals an overwhelming 82 per cent of passengers who have travelled through the airport in the past 12 months report being satisfied with their experience. This marks a 4-point increase in satisfaction levels over the past year, and a 6-point increase in the share of travellers who report being “very” satisfied.

The survey also found that more than eight in 10 travellers who took advantage of the airport’s digital tools, like YYZ Express, Mobile Passport Control, live wait-time dashboards, and interactive maps, were overwhelmingly positive about their experience, and are likely to use the tools again for future travel.

“Toronto Pearson has seen a significant increase from 2023 in the number of travellers who are satisfied with their airport experience,” said Dan Arnold, Pollara’s Chief Strategy Officer. “Much of this is being driven by high satisfaction levels with the airport’s digital tools, which a majority of travellers are now using.”

The latest polling data shows younger travellers between the ages of 18 and 34, have the highest satisfaction rate when travelling through Toronto Pearson, with 89 per cent reporting they’ve had a positive experience. Younger travellers are also more likely to have used the airport’s new digital tools. For the full survey report and methodology, click here.
